The ideas of shut up and ePortfolios (SUAP) is:

    1. Each member set up the goals for them for two sessions and works on their project (ePorfolio) for 25 minutes, then

    2. take a break for 5 minutes,

    3. Continue working on their project for another 25 minutes,

    4. 5 minutes chitchat and conclusion.

    What we did

About 17 members joined our first shut up and ePortfolio on 22 November 2021 (3-4 pm Brisbane time). Because it was our first session and most of us had not created our ePortfolios yet, we decided to work together step-by-step on how to create ePortfolios using Google Sites. We did that from 3-3.45 pm and spent the last 15 minutes working on our own ePortfolios.

    How did it go?

We had some challenges due to different time zone, in which we saw some members join the Zoom at 12 pm Brisbane time. We should find a way to communicate more effectively.

If you joined us, please share what you think about the session and what you hope we should run SUAE sessions in the future.

    What’s next?

If you think we should continue doing this, please tell us. Also, feel free to ask anything (as always). We will post the recording of our SUAP#1 once it is ready.

    Thank you!

The time zone differences were indeed a challenge but we overcame them. Thank you very much and I look forward to continuing our works and finding time to share with our colleagues the outputs 🙂

I hope to see you all in the next webinar 🙂

I am still grateful. I see that you’ve summarized the session and it is so much helpful.
